The roots of Nestlewood go back to the mid 1990s, when Paul bought and renovated a historic bungalow in Plaza Midwood. He fell in love with the neighborhood and wanted to be a part of its transformation from an overlooked in-town neighborhood to one of the most dynamic areas of Charlotte.

After graduating from East Carolina University with a degree in Construction Management, he set out for the next several years as superintendent and general manager for a national and then regional builder. Along the way, he grew to know other components related with real estate growth such as land acquisition and development, financing and logistics, and of course executing the mighty real estate transaction.

From there, Matt followed his entrepreneurship spirit and started a building company, Grandfather Homes, Inc. She moved to Charlotte in 2016 from Fort Worth, Texas where she was a licensed Realtor. Her Real Estate career started at Sentinel Real Estate Corporation in Houston, TX as a Multifamily sales agent where she was top 3 in sales each year.

As a results-driven, forward-thinking individual her accounting background opened the door for her to become a Real Estate Investment Analysist, and Loan Origination Auditor at Sherman Cowley Funding in Dallas, TX. Serving Commercial and Multifamily developers her experience in complex financing transactions and analysis functions helped clients secure loans from 5 to 50 million dollars. While studying to become a North Carolina Realtor she was the Senior Accounting Manager, over North America & Canada at Hagihahra Industries.

Brian was brought up in the construction industry and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Construction Management. In addition to being a partner at Springdale General Contracting + Design focusing on residential renovations, his experience with other general contracting firms has taken him to projects in Georgia, Texas and North Carolina where he gained over a decade of experience in mixed-use, high-density multi-family construction as well as retail, education and healthcare commercial construction.

Brian saw a need for becoming a broker after multiple requests from residential and commercial customers looking for a GC to tour and advise on potential properties. Having personally purchased and fully remodeled several homes in Charlotte, Brian is well versed in the process and has encountered and overcome just about every challenge in sales and remodeling.
